First of all - hi! I'm really excited to be receiving a gift in this exchange from you. To make things rather short, let me tell you that I will be absolutely happy with anything you create for me; what matters the most is that you are happy and comfortable with your piece. I, however, am a complete sucker for anything dark-ish, mysterious and particularly angsty (angst is my crack while pure fluff is not something I usually read).
Generally I'm pretty open for anything, just please try to stay away from heavy graphic torture (including mutiliation and overly gory descriptions), PWP stuff (I am generally not a huge lover of smut fic, so if you choose to stay away from it completely, that's perfectly fine with me!) m-preg (which is obviously not much of an option in this exchange but still something to be mentioned), kinks such as watersports/scat, crossovers in general and extreme AUs (a good example for that would be modern!AU in the ASOIAF fandom which doesn't really apply here either but should give an idea of what I mean). Otherwise, anything else is game!
A character I am fascinated with very much is Druella; I've always wondered what she would be like, really. I developed a very large and elaborated head-canon about her and she grew very, very dear to me, but of course I am not going to spoil or bias you in any way! What I am going to say, however, is that I've always believed her to be a cold and distanced but secretly very emotional woman and affectionate mother; I ship her endlessly and beyond with Cygnus and am in the very firm belief that they truly love each other to death and have an incredibly deep, intimate connection. If your have your own head-canon about her, I will be very excited to read about it! One major squick of mine, however, is abusive!Cygnus, so if you could stay away from that I would be very happy.
Generally, ver since they were introduced, I have been completely and utterly with the Black sisters; Narcissa is my favourite character in the whole series, but I also love Andromeda a lot. We don't know much about her, but the little information we get says a whole lot. I believe that she truly loved her family (particularly Narcissa) despite her escape, and things like an intense character study or her dynamics particularly with her mother and sisters are something I'm very, very interested in. I do ship her with Ted but I also have Narcissa/Andromeda shipper tendencies, but whatever path you choose, I am sure that I will adore it.
The Mummy Series
I don't have much to say about Evy except that I fell in love with her from the first moment on; the transformation she went through on and off screen is incredibly fascinating and particularly in the second part (the third movie does not quite exist for me) that woman gives me an endless amount of feels. I ship her a lot with Rick (again, my OTP focus lies very much in the time during and around the second movie, so already quite far into their marriage and not towards the beginning of their relationship) and generally, did I already mention that I love her? I would adore to read anything about her, anything at all - intense character studies, her perception of heaven, the last moments of her life after being stabbed to death by Anck-su-namun and her resurrection, etc. - and of course it would make me incredibly happy if it could take place within mentioned timeline!
Mrs Danvers has been my favourite character of the book from the beginning on - a character I'm absolutely fascinated with. I'm seeing endless loyalty in her character, as well as endless despair. She genuinely loved Rebecca and has been made a victim of her games just like countless men, which she does not realise until the very end and it breaks my heart. Also, what is her backstory? Where did she come from, who was her mysterious husband... There is so much to explore. Rebecca is also an amazing character, you never see her and yet her presence lingers all over; especially her dynamics together with Danny, her abuse towards her, are incredibly fascinating and have so much potential to look into further. I have also always had a soft spot for Beatrice - her point of view on the things going on at Manderley, perhaps a glimpse of her past, a character study... There are countless possibilities!
Memoirs Of A Geisha
MoaG is one of my all-time favourite books (I'm also very much in love with the movie) and Mameha certainly is one of my very favourite literary characters in general - I love looking behind the geisha mask and seeing the vulnerable side of her that we get to see very rarely but still. I've also grown to like Hatsumomo a lot over time for the same reasons (especially towards the end when she starts to completely lose it) and am especially fascinated by her relationship (and its development) with Mameha.
